
Lafayette Instrument Company Acquires Avisoft Bioacoustics, Increasing Focus in Life Science through Ultrasound Recording and Analysis
Lafayette, IN – July 27, 2026 – Lafayette Instrument Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of Avisoft Bioacoustics, the premier developer of systems for investigating animal acoustic communication. Through this acquisition, Lafayette Instrument further expands its scientific instrumentation line of products ? providing their customers additional methods of studying behavior, biology, and neuroscience through incorporating ultrasonic vocalization.
